My Experience:
The Foligain hair lotion is a white liquid. It smells nice as a beautiful of many essential oils used in it. To use the product, you may either take out the lotion directly from the top cap or can open the cap and dip the dropper to fill in the lotion in it.
Whatever method you choose to take out the lotion, just apply it on clean and dry scalp. It should be gently rubbed on the affected area of scalp without vigorous movement. It doesn't harm  your hair if you massage it covering complete head area like a hair oil until completely absorbed.

The hair lotion is not sticky and gives a soothing + relaxing feel while on scalp. I let it remain on my scalp overnight and wash it off next morning. The brand advises to use it on daily basis but I apply it twice a week whenever I have scheduled head bath day. because I don't go out of house in oily hair ever.
Ofcourse, my purpose is not to cure baldness (thankfully), but I am using it to render quality and improve texture of my hair. The hair fall rate has actually gone down after its usage. And I find better volume as compared to few months ago.
Frankly I cannot exactly measure the improvement in hair growth percentage, but it is obvious when I get compliment for my nourished hair. I give its credit to Foligain hair growth enhancer.

Today's post is meant for beauties with oily skin mainly who are looking for a product that contains promising constituents to handle skin issues of summers like excess oil secretion, accumulation of dirt and grime within skin. Packaging:
The facewash comes in a soft plastic tube identical to their sunscreen packaging which I reviewed earlier. The tube has nozzled orange cap to squeeze the required amount of face wash. The cap of newly purchased pack is sealed with a clear sheet to keep the content intact. The packaging looks bright and refreshing overall.

My Experience: 
The facewash is of gel like form in pale golden shade that looks colorless as you pour it on your palm. The consistency is also similar to any gel, neither thick nor very runny. The facewash smells pleasant which is more on a citrusy side like a tangy lemon. It is not going to bother sensitive noses.

I am blessed with clear facial skin and never became victim of pimples etc. But since the face wash is enriched with natural goodness of turmeric, we may expect it to fight acne n pimples due to its anti-bacterial properties.
The awesome combination of turmeric with lemon claims to improve complexion that is true to certain extent as I observed it on myself. Prolonged use of Anherb facewash lightens the skin tone slightly and may show better result if continued.

It is a foam based face wash that lathers decently and effectively removes excess oil from skin. The brand recommends it for normal to oily skin, and mine is dry one. But I still took a chance to use it. The facewash didn't overdry my skin, rather gave me squeaky clean feel. But yes! I followed up with a layer of matte moisturizer afterwards to avoid flaky look.

Pros:
Best suitable for normal to oily skin.
Decent lather.
Reduces secretion of oil from skin.
Mild citrus fragrance.
Not expensive.
Available at many online portals.

Cons:
Not meant for very dry skin.

My Experience:

The IHA aqua neem toner is a clear liquid of watery consistency. After reading the active ingredient as Neem, I had expected it to smell weird or bitter, but exactly opposite to my expectation, it has really lovely fragrance like a wild flower that I am in love with. 

Since my skin type is dry, I find it crucial to pick a suitable toner that are too drying and may cause my skin to break out. Basically, I avoid using toners which are alcohol based and prefer water based toners.

IHA Aqua Neem toner is toner that is gentle for skin. I use it after I reach home after work and also before hitting the bed. It has capability to remove all kinds of pollutants including dirt and tough oil that attracts more dust into skin. It doesn't dry out the skin like alcohol based toner and doesn't sting my eyes. The mild effect on the skin doesn't give any sensational feeling at all. 

Since it is enriched with neem extract, it will be liked more by beauties who are worried about acne n pimples. The brand recommends to use it in mixing powdered facepacks to minimize appearance of acne. 

The glycerine used it its formula helps to lock natural moisture of skin so that it does not look cracky.

Today I have a product recommendation for summer-hit people who are fighting with the problem of sweating. Its from a trusted brand that I am a fan of. I am talking about Sweatnil Roll-On Anti-Perspirant from Ethinext Pharma.

What I liked about the product:
Sweatnil comes in white plastic bottle packaging that is light-weight and easy to carry. I dislike heavy glass packaging that cannot be easily carried in my handbag. So its a travel-friendly packaging. Also I am happy that the packaging lists all necessary information regarding usage, price, ingredients etc.

Sweatnil is beautifully perfumed that need not be distinguished for men or women like usual deodorants and can be used by any gender without feeling awkward. The perfume in the formula is not super strong, but it makes its presence feel for decent duration post-application. Ultimately it lessens the body odor arisen out of sweat accumulation on skin.

Reading on the outer carton that the product is a Roll-On pack; I expected it to be an irritating waxy thing on my skin. But I felt so relaxed to find that when you roll it on your skin, it just leaves a layer of watery thin aromatic gel behind that starts its job to control sweating. It feels absolutely non-sticky and comfortable even on the direct contact with skin.

The Sweatnil gel has aluminum chloride hexahydrate as one of the ingredients which is among the most effective antiperspirants currently available. So it has the potential to control sweating for considerably decent time of few hours. The time may vary according to user's skin or health type as well. Those who work for longer hours in open may choose to reapply it if excessive sweating is experienced.

Sweatnil leaves no spots/stains on the clothes as it quickly gets dried up. So it again a thumbs-up feature of the product that helps you use it without worries. :)

It caused me no side effects, skin allergies or irritation. So I find it gentle on skin. It recommend Sweatnil to people who live in extreme humid conditions and need a relief from body odor caused by sweating.

The price is also within budget for most, so deserves a try for everyone !!

What I didn't like much in the product?
I wish the packaging should be a transparent one to give an idea of the quantity.

The people who have very sensitive skin may not find it comfortable or hygienic to share the same sweatnil pack with other family members or friends because it is a roll-on product. (though its not an issue with me)

How are you enjoying summers?? I am finding it so difficult to stay untanned in this hot weather. Its a challenge when you don't feel like covering yourself with full sleeved clothing and scarfs etc & still want to avoid effect of sun rays on your delicate skin.

Recently I make you introduced with a After-Sun Gel from Anherb which was liked by many readers and they requested me to suggest some good sun screen. So I have this post ready for you that talks about a sunscreen with not only higher SPF but with reasonably good TPI.

The Anherb Sunflower Extract Sun Screen comes in a white squeeze tube packaging with bright yellow, black and orange print on it. The tiny nozzle on the cap helps to dispense sufficient quantity without fuss. All the minutest details are imprinted on both sides of the tube.

How did I like the product:
Though I don't roam around frequently during day time. But its quite hot and humid in open when I come back from work in the afternoon every day. We all know how Indian Summers can cause us immediate tan. And when its a daily affair, then special care needs to be taken.
The Anherb sun screen is a white creamy product. I had great expectation from the product due to its higher SPF content i.e. SPF 40 which is supposed to make the sunscreen much effective in providing protection from harmful sunrays.

When you swatch the sun screen, it leaves no shiny layer or white cast behind like many other sunscreen do. It gets absorbed quickly resulting in matte finish. Thankfully!!  I loved the sweet floral fragrance in the first usage itself. But the perfume is too mild that you won't be able to smell it until you purposely smell yourself to check. I somehow can distantly relate its perfume with Johnson products ;)

I am applying it mainly on my face, arms and exposed areas of back. Its formulation provides you protection from UV-A1, UV-A2 and UV-B sunrays too. I personally used to consider only rate of SPF in a sun screen till now, but now I got to know about importance of TPI (tan protection index)as well. One should choose a sunscreen that is infused with ingredients that prevents darkening of skin. I am happy to found one.

This sunscreen also claims to be water resistant, so it can be your preferred choice if you are going to work out causing a lot of sweat or are going for a swim etc. (though I didn't check it personally).
As per the general conception of SPF, this sunscreen with ratio 40 should protect your skin for 40*10=400 mins i.e. almost 6 hrs before you think to reapply it, which is quite a good reason to use it. 

Infusing sunflower extract has been a pleasant news to me as I have never used any sunscreen that boasts of maximum beneficial properties. 

Pros:
Enriched with natural ingredients Sunflower Extract.
Mild Perfume.
Needs reapplication after long hours only.
Advisable to apply during cloudy weather also.
Not greasy or oily.
Provides broad spectrum protection.
Waterprof.
High SPF and TPI.

Cons:

May seem slightly expensive to some.

Overall Opinion:

Anherb Sunflower Extract Sun Screen is much acceptable sunscreen for Indian summers for its light texture and broad spectrum protection. It helps to avoid getting tanned and suits all skin types. Its quick absorbency and matte finish make it my fav. :)

Aroma Essentials Leave On Serum Review

Remember I reviewed the D-Tan scrub from Aroma Essentials few days back. I was quite impressed by its result, so I decided to go ahead with yet another product and took one from their hair care range. And today I am here with a review on Aroma Essential Leave On Serum.

The serum comes in a small plastic bottle with green cap. The top cap of the bottle has flip open lid with a nozzle to pour our the liquid. The label on the packaging iterates about the features, but not ingredients. The 35 ml serum is priced at Rs 150.

The serum is enriched with the goodness of Arnica Extracts, Hibiscus Extracts, Wheat Proteins with Almond Oil.

The serum is a translucent liquid that has a shiny tint in it. It is not very thick in consistency or I can say less thicker than the one I am using at present. As you flip open the cap, a sweet herbal smell enters your nostrils.

As the name suggests, the serum is meant to be on hair and not to be washed away. I took out few drops of the serum on my hand, rubbed them between my palms and applied on damp hair. Give it a light massage. The serum provides a fair coating on hair and adds luster to dull hair. I am happy that it helped me control frizz to a considerable extent. I experienced no fly aways after regular usage of this product.
Most interestingly, the detangling process post head bath is now a matter of few seconds because of effortless combing. The hair length feels really soft and refreshing because its fragrance lasts for next few hours. Its now so easy to manage my long hair and set them easily in any hair-do. Prolonged use of this leave-on serum can strengthen hair as it brings along the trust of almond oil.
Though the serum is not very thick, but it requires very less quantity to be applied in every usage. Ofcourse, it depends of the texture and length of hair too. But take care not to use excessive amount of serum to avail extra benefit in one go, otherwise there is great chance to weigh down your hair.

My views on the products:

Before I begin to share my views on how Bio Pure Cleansing Milk worked for me, I wouldn't miss admiring the brand for printing such an extensive list of ingredients on the packaging that I feel like gaining complete knowledge of whats going in to formulate the product. I clap for the effort taken by the brand.

Bio Pure Cleansing Milk is a pearly white creamy cleanser. The consistency of this cleansing milk is slightly thicker than other similar product in the line. But it doesn't make the product heavy on skin. It is easier to smear due to its creamy texture. As per brand instruction on how to use it, I applied it on my face n neck area followed by mild rubbing and used soft tissue to wipe it off. It took away dirt n pollutants along with  all traces of makeup. So I may save on some money by not buying a makeup remover separately now. Though I am not sure if it will be as effective on water-proof makeup as well. My skin didn't feel stretchy or dry post application as the cleaning milk is enriched with enough quantity of moisturizing content. It neither causes stingy feel to eyes and is quite gentle to skin. 

How can I forget about the fragrance. Bio Pure is different in the sense that it doesn't make you feel like standing in flower garden. I mean many of the cleansing milks I have used earlier have soft floral fragrance. But Bio Pure cleaning milk refreshes you with its tingling lemony fragrance, which is quite a welcome chance to me. The fragrance doesn't fade quite soon. Even while writing this post, I can smell it from my skin though I applied it almost 2 hours ago. 

I wish to make a point that Bio Pure is best suited to dry and normal skin types. Only the beauties with extremely oily skin may not find it suitable.

It may be hard to believe, but sometime the seed of inspiration is planted in your heart just by coming across a random instance. I happened to watch this cute wishful video clip by Flipkart with its catchy tagline #AbHarWishHogiPoori..

There can be contrasting perspective for what 'Wishes' mean to you. Some wishes turn foggier as the time passes, slowly begin to fade away and ultimately get lost altogether. But whenever a special wish resurfaces, they may bring enormous burst of emotions. And its so natural that when a special childhood wish becomes evident, you are deeply lost into it and you try to snake a path through it to recall the blissful event of your life.

My childhood had been the golden period (whose aura still sparkles my life). The endless reasons to be happy, being adored and most pampered kept me pretty happier every day. I knew deep inside that I deserved my fair share of happiness and I am attaining it. I still remember how my dad was steering the lives of his family members to chart our destiny make us feel reasonably satisfied.

How 'loyal' or 'committed' do you think you are? Don't feel offended..I am not asking about your personal relationship, but I am talking about your loyalty to BRANDS. Sounds baffling?? Don't feel so...Let me tell you why I asked you this cranky question.

While hunting for the dresses he wanted, I was keeping an eagle's eye on some profitable deals on online sites so that I may get him a dress each for school party and house party.
